Part 1: Proposal Writing (30%)

Objective:

The purpose of this assignment is to assess students’ cognitive skills by requiring them to produce a comprehensive and structured report comprising three chapters of a research proposal. This final project serves to consolidate the knowledge and skills acquired throughout the course, demonstrating students’ ability to engage in advanced research planning and academic writing. The assignment provides an opportunity to apply the principles of scientific research discussed in class to real-world contexts. Students are expected to develop a research proposal that addresses current business and management issues, ensuring the setting and focus are relevant to the field of business and management. Through this exercise, students will not only deepen their understanding of research methodologies but also enhance their ability to articulate and propose practical solutions to industry-related challenges.

Assignment Description

Students will submit a final project report consisting of three chapters of a research proposal. The proposal must build on their previous work, showcasing their ability to synthesize information, critically evaluate sources, and develop a well-organized framework for conducting research.
