In your portfolio, you are expected to:
Demonstrate critical reflection on your development and learning using academic sources to support your work. Following the Harvard referencing style for citations and references to integrate theory with practice by linking your experiences to academic concepts, including employability connections to relevant UN Sustainable Development goals.
Your Submission:
Submit a Word document using the template provided.
The total word count should be 3,000 words (+/- 10%).
Use the appendices to include your evidence from your BREO journal
Evidence: (A checklist is provided)
– Weekly journal entries from BREO.
– Self-assessment tools (e.g. SWOT analysis, skills audits).
– Any other relevant documents (CV, LinkedIn, feedback, etc.).
You are encouraged to use AI tools for researching and sorting information. You must use a critical approach in using information this way and your use of AI must be referenced correctly.
Please do not use any 3rd party tools in the development of your assignment which changes the wording, like paraphrasing for you or translating into English. You are encouraged to complete drafts in your own words and use STUDIOSITY for feedback on structure, punctuation and grammar.
What do I need to do to pass? How do I achieve a good grade?
“What do I need to do pass?”. During the assessment introductory session, you should be given the opportunity to check your understanding of the threshold statements and what you need to do to surpass them.
You will produce a portfolio demonstrating your understanding of the employer needs of the workplace of the future, this might include evidence of technological developments, or the key skills and attributes required in individuals in the business environment. Your portfolio will show some reflection of your development in the unit including a minimum of 5 entries from the portfolio checklist. Your work will include some application of relevant theory.
The assessment marking criteria listed below show how your work is assessed. The assessment criteria are informed by the unit’s learning outcomes and the assessment task. Carefully reading the assessment criteria should help you understand the aspects that will be used to judge your progress and achievement of the learning outcomes and offer guidance on “how do I achieve a good grade”. You will receive feedback from your tutor as part of the assessment in Week 4. Otherwise informal feedback will be provided from time to time in class.
If you demonstrate understanding of the future requirements of employers and how you plan to align your skills and experience to keep up with those requirements, showing insight and analysis of your skill set and potential, extensively supported by relevant evidence and research correctly cited you should achieve a good grade in this unit.
How will my assignment be marked?
