LO2: Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the fundamental principles that applies on wide variety of skills such as communication and emotional intelligence which will help them to understand the current developments

MN4162 Assignment Task

Students are to complete a 1500 word document for Task A and a 1,00 word document for Task B. Total word count 2,500 words.

Task A: 1,500 words

Explain the different management styles that are apparent within the Aviation sector and how this may have changed over time.

You should link this to your understanding of both traditional and contemporary approaches to management that you have learnt on MN4062. You should also draw upon the case studies used in MN4162

A more detailed overview will be given in the assignment overview workshops throughout the term.

Task B: 1,000 words

Explain the skills and attributes needed to be a successful manager in the aviation sector and, reflect on your ability to perform such skills.

You can draw on your groupwork experience in this module and other relevant personal, professional and academic experiences.
