Assignment Task

This assignment is a group presentation in which students are required to present a health and social care practice-based problem and evaluate the problem using principles as taught in the module.

Examples of health and social care practice-based problems:

• Family of service user dissatisfied with quality of care/
• Bullying in the workplace
• Service user needs not being met with regards to `religious practices
• Discrimination in the workplace (gender, sexuality, ethnicity, age)
• Safeguarding issue of vulnerable child or adult.

The group presentation should:

• Present health and social care practice-based problem (what)
• Identify key stakeholders in the health and social care practice-based problem (who)
• Contextualise the problem (national scale)
• Evaluate how the issue can be addressed using key principles of effective communication, values-based practice, and teamwork
• Reflect on how this relates to your own health and social care practice
