- Explain the group properties for people and organization.
- Explain creative decision making and innovation in the organizations.
- Explain the types of teams and effects of team process.
- Explain the interpersonal communication and communication methods.
- Explain the theories and styles of leadership.
- Explain how organizational cultures may impact on employee performance and satisfaction.
Learning Outcomes Tested
LO 2 – Evaluate alternative classical and contemporary social science theories/models used in practice;
LO 3 – Critically analyse key organisational behaviour concepts and issues at an individual, group, management, leadership and organisational level, taking into account contemporary practice relating to equality, diversity and inclusion;
LO 5 – Evaluate the influence of organisational context on management and leadership practice with reference to theoretical concepts and contemporary thinking.
Marking Criteria
The assessment will be marked according to the following specific marking criteria:
The work will be assessed with reference to Bachelor’s (Level 4) grading criteria. Please note all marks will be subject to moderation.
Each of the 5 elements will be awarded a mark based on the marking scheme below.
Knowledge and Understanding: 10%
Application of Theory: 30%
Analytical Skills : 30%
Information literacy : 20%
Written communication: 10%
